In this unplugged version of "i love you every now," my initial intent was to simplify the song to its bones. Guitar, vocals... let the song sing and the lyrics shine.
But as I was recording and filming it, I felt inspired to try more things. That included the cello, an instrument I have always loved but never dared to pick up until now.
The result is not for the purists. It is a strange salad of instruments and techniques - acoustic guitar, ukulele, piano, and that deep cello built more for the open-minded explorers.
